I've been at STAR 102.5 for over 5 years now. I have really loved making Des Moines my home and can't imagine living any where else! Since I moved here I've gone through many life changes. I've gotten married. I bought a house. I have a dog! And most recently I had a baby. She arrived a lot earlier than we expected, born 3 months early, but she is doing great!
Rhiannon was born February 7th, and was named for the Fleetwood Mac song. The staff at Blank Children's hospital really took great care of her while she was there, but she is finally home! She started off at 2lbs and 2 oz, but is now almost 9 1/2 pounds!
I am still a big fan of live music, and you will find me at most concert events in and around Des Moines. I will always be found at Nitefall on the River-the most affordable outdoor entertainment around! I love the Val-Air Ballroom and Wells Fargo Arena for great shows like the Goo Goo Dolls, Tom Petty and of course, Bon Jovi! But you can't forget great events like Rib Fest and the Des Moines Arts Festival! And on any Saturday in the Summer you will see me wandering around at the Downtown Farmers Market, or at various Antique Jamborees in Valley Junction. I've found so much to do in Des Moines I can't imagine living anywhere else!
